A captivating trailer that gives you a small insight into the controversial dam debate in the Unites States. Stopping environmental flows and preventing the upstream spawn, but providing power and holding back decimating floods. Has the damage been done or can it be undone?
Here’s a teaser for the next installment from the crew at Gin-Clear Media. Enjoy!
Unfortunately, I have no idea what this clip is called or who it is from… But it has some amazing mayfly action going on.
You have to check this clip out. Six minutes or so of footage that encapsulates much of what we do, where we go and gives the viewer a glimpse as to why. Almost certainly, my mates watching this will be emptying the clag from their bag – and rightly so. I will emphasise, watch this and get a shot off for today.
Against The Tide is a short film shot along the Hampshire Coast in the UK. Is it just me, or do some of the fish look very similar to the ‘chubb’ or ‘diamond-scale mullet’ we get here in Tassie? Apart from the stripes, they look dead-set related. The ones we have here are notoriously difficult to fool – Perhaps it’s time to bust out the bread-fly!
I’ve stumbled across some more tasty little clips to add to the Trailer Park.
“I had some time last night so I whipped up this trailer for the soon to be released DVD Heart of the Driftless. It probably deserves a little better effort but I’m burnt and just wanted to get it done. The DVD will also feature the full version of Reverb currently out on the 2012 Fly Fishing Film tour. I will say I couldn’t be happier with the DVD. It contains 2 1/2 hours of content that I think folks will really enjoy. DVD should hit the market in early March”. http://www.thirdyearflyfisher.com/index.html
A couple of rad-arsed trailers to set the mood leading into your weekend. Watch now and thank me later. These are some feature films from the Fly Fishing Film Tour 2012 and will likely be available in full length soon so you can watch them over and over again until your retinas are exhausted and your mind is a little bit insane.
